This is late
My friend and I had specially taken some time off revision to watch the game. Seated in front of the TV, we screamed ourselves hoarse. We shrieked and yelped and cheered like there was no tomorrow. We wanted to see our team win.
But one man had to get himself into this (for stamping on someone else's groin!!):

What an idiot. Oh well. And I was so so so sad when David Beckham injured himself so badly he had to be subsituted.
England was so different once the beholder of their spirit left the pitch. And you know what, my heart really went out to this fine gentleman when I saw this on tv:
One of the girls in the house who was also watching the game with me and my friend said that David Beckham was just being wussy for crying. But you know what? I think a man who isn't afraid to show his vulnerable side is a REAL man. A man who dares to shed tears in front of THE WHOLE WORLD is a man who's confident enough of his own masculinity. My heart went out to him that day you know... and that was when I REALLY wanted England to win.
The game got to a point when it was actually painful to watch. The surges and dips in emotion were just way beyond what we could handle. We couldn't bring ourselves to keep watching, but we couldn't bring ourselves to stop either. In the end, we still lost.
How sad.
And I know I sound like a sore loser for saying this, but I blame 2 men for the result. The first being this shitty biased ARGENTINIAN referee (you know why I say he's biased):

Ugh.
And I'm so sad that my dearest David actually came back to announce his resignation from captain-ship!

Random thoughts
my unsuccessful french manicure. French manicure looks the nicest when it's longer. Mine was too short but I didn't know what colour to paint them. I've tried pinks before.. doesn't suit me. so jus do french manicure loh.
On a side note, nice rite? some of Singapore richest area... I happen to take these shots while in a lift...

I'm watching LIVE soccer ...(on tv) URGh! it's gonna be 1in the morning but the match only starts at 3 am. ....... world cup shld be held somewhere nearby .. where time difference isnt that great. ITALY vs GERMANY. Who do you support? I'm split. But I do hope Italy wins! wahaha.. jingz' gonna hate me....
